For over sixty years, this business has been crafting bespoke glass and joinery for homes and businesses across Liverpool and beyond. What began with a single craftsman and a commitment to quality has grown into a legacy built on trust, skill, and an unwavering attention to detail.
From traditional leaded lights to precision glazing and bespoke woodwork, every piece we create carries the weight of that heritage — and the standards set by those who came before us.
Six decades of craftsmanship — from the founding family to the Woodcocks of today.
The foundations of Liverpool Glass & Joinery were laid by Joe — a craftsman who believed that quality work, done properly, would speak for itself. Built on traditional techniques and skilled workmanship, the company quickly earned a reputation across Liverpool.
Joe's son Colin took over the business, continuing to grow its reputation for reliability, attention to detail, and high-quality work. Under Colin's leadership, the company expanded its range of services and deepened its roots in the local community.
Alan joined Colin in 1983, and together the brothers spent decades delivering stained glass, precision glazing, and professional installation services. Their partnership brought complementary skills and a shared dedication to the family's standards.
After decades of dedication, Colin and Alan retired — proudly passing the company to the Woodcock family. New ownership, same address, same standards. A milestone that marks not an ending, but a continuation of everything that came before.
Today, the next generation continues the business with the same values at its heart — honouring a sixty-year heritage while bringing fresh ideas and modern expertise to every project. The name, the standards, and the craft endure.
The principles passed down through three generations — unchanged.
Traditional techniques refined over sixty years. Every joint, every lead line, every cut made with care and experience.
No shortcuts, no compromises. We hold every piece of work to the standard Joe set in 1962 — and the one the next generation will carry forward.
Decades of work for homes and businesses across Liverpool and Merseyside. Our reputation was built one satisfied client at a time.
Whether you need a repair, a restoration, or something entirely new — we'd love to hear about your project.
